Erectile Issues Faced By Millions Of People Worldwide:

Having performance issues in the bedroom? Feeling the stress and strain of sexual desire taking its toll? Well, don't be too hard on yourself, because statistics show that you aren't alone. When it comes to sex, people often hide away the issues which affect them - at all costs. There seems to be a social stigma that any problems you face with the topic of sex should be kept to yourself, or your doctor.

But more and more this is not the case. As a recent survey showed, millions of men around the globe share the issue of erectile dysfunction - especially as they reach the later period of their life. For exact statistics, erectile issues begin at around 52 years old - which is a far lower figure than a few years ago. At one time, the figure was as high as 60, so clearly something is affecting our ability to have enjoyable and meaningful sex.

What could it be? Well, here are a few theories.

Stress, Strain, and Distraction Of Everyday Life.

One of the proposed reasons for the lack of erectile functioning at an averagely younger age is because of the stress and strain that our lives currently face. Whether it be financial stress, work related stress, or stressors in our personal lives - this all has a negative impact on our libido, and hence our ability to perform.

Interestingly, the same issues seem to be faced by members of the opposite gender. In a recent survey, almost half of the female respondents aged over 40 felt that they weren't enjoying sexual activity as much as they used to 12 months ago - a massive increase, and clearly the result of a number of recent developments in the economy and financial sectors.

Also, a large proportion of survey respondents pointed out that they were "distracted" by things happening at work or away from the home, and this was having a negative impact on their sex lives as well.

Increase In Counterfeit Sex Pills.

In studies of sex pills, it was shown that the results were actually purely a function of a vast increase in the number of counterfeit sex pills currently on the market. These results (lower levels of sex enjoyment) represent an interesting issue for consumers, and has certainly lead to a fair amount of confusion surrounding the use of such medications.
